2C Quarter Horses

Welcome to 2C Quarter Horses. We raise a small group of foals every year, aiming for quality, not quantity. Our stallion, Major Eyed, had a successful first season showing in Reining, winning classes and coming home with an NRHA Pewter and a Morrison bronze. Our mares carry some of the top performance bloodlines, offering foals which will have the versatility to perform in multiple disciplines. The oldest foals of Major Eyed are coming 2, and will be started this summer.

Major Eyed is a son of Two Eyed Red Buck, the premier Ranch stallion standing at the Pitzer Ranch (the home of Two Eyed Jack). Red Buck is an AQHA champion, has points in multiple performance events and halter, and is siring offspring achieving the same. The dam of Major Eyed is Cross Over Hannah, a two time AQHA World Champion in heading and heeling. She is a daughter of the outstanding stallion Major Bonanza and out of Diamonds Super Sis (WCH champion, full sister to Diamonds Sparkle). Every horse in Major Eyed’s pedigree is either an AQHA champion, World Champion, AQHA Super Horse, or a producer of champions. This kind of breeding leads to the versatility that the American Quarter Horse is noted for. Major Eyed offers style, substance, and disposition and is a stallion to consider as an outcross for reining-bred mares.

We are standing Major Eyed in 2009 to outside mares. Shipped semen is available and is of high quality. Major Eyed is APHA approved.
