Production Sale Stallions Contact Home A Life in Rodeo

On Behalf of Anchor P Ranch, Blaine & Yvonne Pederson, we would like to welcome you to our herd dispersal sale. We appreciate the support from everyone here today and we would like to thank Gord & Lana Holt at Bar Heart Ranch for having us join their horse sale. We would also like to thank Travis Horn, Kandi Rudd, Jayden Smith and our daughters Jamie-Lee and Candice and families for all their help.

We are having this dispersal sale due to lack of time and a much needed knee replacement from old rodeo injuries, both riding and training is hard on the knees.

We have some great horses & bloodlines to offer. This would be a great opportunity for any new and upcoming horse ranchers to get a hold of these great bloodlines we have built up over the years.

So please feel free to look around and ask us any questions you may have. Enjoy the sale. Thank you.

Welcome to Anchor P Ranch, located - 90 miles east of Camrose, Alberta in beautiful grass country. Blaine was born and raised on the ranch and Yvonne was raised on a ranch at Cadogan. They have had a cow/calf and grain operation since 1982 with Blaine's parents, Leif and Darlene and have raised two daughters, Jamie-Lee and Candice.

Blaine's goals in life was to be a World Champion in the Rodeo world and to have a Brood Mare and Stallion operation as well. He became a Professional Cowboy in 1982 and pursued his dream in 1994 to become the World Champion Steer Wrestler at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas.. Nevada, as well as being a four time Canadian Steer Wrestling Champion and winning the $50,000 at the Calgary Stampede in 1988 and 1991. Blaine also competed in the Calf Roping and Team -Roping but his love for steer wrestling was more prominent. Blaine's knowledge of how important it is to have the horsepower needed to accomplish a goal is great and now after slowing down from the Rodeo world he is focusing that knowledge, commitment and the -love for horses into a program of breeding, raising and training horses.

We started our horse business in 1994 and we feel that we have a program that is working for us and want to share our horses with you. Our herd has the disposition, bone quality, confirmation and bloodlines that we want to see in our foal crop year after year. With this in mind we have put together some great bloodlines for our sale such as Pepinics Master, King Leo Bar, Doc Bar, Zan Parr Bar Six Foals, Doco Salty, Truckle Feature, Peppy San Badger, Bueno Chex, Peppy San and many more. Have a look at our site and we hope you are as pleased as we are. If you have any questions, please give us a call.
