How are horses selling?
By the comments we are getting from our Classified clients, horses must be selling as well as they ever have. It isn’t unusual to have over 600 visitors to a classified in the first day.
And, even more important, lots of these visitors seem to be buyers. So if you have a horse standing around, eating hay, who could be better off in someone else’s program, get him cleaned up, take a nice photo and get him on the Northernhorse.com classifieds. I know there are people looking for good mounts for various disciplines. He may be just what someone is looking for.
As a matter of fact “what’s selling” isn’t limited to horses. Most everything on the classifieds seems to be getting a lot of interest lately.
It is is really a lot of fun helping Canadian horse people market their horses on the web. We have a number of excellent breeders and knowledgeable horse people many of whom learned about horses from their parents who learned about horses from their parents who farmed the land with horses not all that long ago. My mother worked in the field with horses and my husband’s family had a chore horse for much of his youth.
