We had wonderful response to this request but baby decided in the end that he really loved his human mom and didn’t want to desert her for some big hairy beast. 

If anyone out there has a mare that lost her baby and you think she might like to adopt a baby, Joan Murray of Bar IJ Ranch, in Condor, Alberta has a baby that sure needs a new mom. Condor is west of Red Deer for those who aren’t familiar with the area.
