Looking to have some fun with other folks and their horses in the north country? Why not try the North County Circuit 2007….. Best Little Open Horse Show Circuit.

2007 sees the fifth year for the North Country Circuit, an open horse show circuit in North Central Alberta. Seven local open horse shows have teamed up to encourage local exhibitors to participate at the Ag Society and Horse Club shows. Members compete at as many or as few shows on the circuit as they wish, earning points toward year end high point prizes.

ALL sponsorship money AND membership fees are retuned to the exhibitor by way of year end prizes and membership rewards.

New for the 2007 season will be a 3 & 4 year old western pleasure futurity (open to all 3 & 4 yr olds registered or grade), and a pre-show clinic. Further information will be available on the web site as dates and fees are set. Membership fees for 2007 are $ 20.00 per horse / handler. High Point, Reserve High Point and Third Place are awarded in the following groups.

13 yrs. & Under 14 to 17 yrs.  18 to 44 yrs.  45 yrs & Older

As well as earning points toward the NCC awards each individual show offer cash prizes some have high point awards for the show and some have added stake class money. Shows on the Circuit for the 2007 season are; Smith, Athabasca, Lac La Biche, Darwell Waskatenau, Rochester and Newbrook.
