RESULTS OF ROCKING W RANCH SPRING SALE
The sale was held in Brandon, MB at the Keystone Center’s new equine facility. The sale featured auctioneer Don Peacock and pedigrees by Glen Gabel. The sale was very well attended with an oustanding group of horses to be sold.
The top selling horse, consigned by Lee & Tracy Pedersen of Milestone, SK, named PQH Rainbow. A 1999 AQHA bay gelding; seasoned ranch horse, a solid heading horse and quiet for anyone in the family to ride. The horse sold for $6400.00 to Harvey C. Peters of Maple Creek, SK.
The 2nd top selling horse, consigned by Rocking F Livestock of Oak Lake, MB. A grade 2001 black gelding; High School Rodeo horse competing in heading, heeling, goat tying & barrels. The horse sold for $4700.00 to Harvey C. Peters of Maple Creek, SK.
Top 5 horses averaged $4720.00.
Top 10 horses averaged $4150.00.
Average on all horses sold $1750.00.
A huge tack sale as also held and was very well attended as well. Tack was supplied by Robbie Rainer, Sheridan Vet Clinic, Missouri. Over 50 new saddles and a variety of other types of tack and equine equipment were sold. The tack sale lasted 10 hours.
