The Equine Respiratory Lab of the University of Calgary Faculty of Veterinary Medicine is looking for volunteers to participate in a online questionnaire:
Epidemiologic study on equine respiratory health in Alberta
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

Your horse does not need to have respiratory issues for you to participate in this study.
The collaboration of owners and horse professionals from Alberta is sought after to fill out an online questionnaire.
The results of this epidemiologic study will allow us to:
- Assess the importance of respiratory disease in Alberta
- Identify risks factors, as well as the costs of respiratory illness to horse owners of Alberta.
Based on your responses to our questionnaire and our preliminary data from this research project, we can determine whether risk factors exist for your horse to develop heaves.
