Mandy has disappeared from the family’s field near Okotoks, Alberta.  She was discovered missing early this morning (Wednesday August 20).  Mandy was not in her field this morning and upon looking further the family discovered the wires on their fence had been cut.

Mandy is a black, 14.2 Welsh, arab, quarter horse cross.  She has a pronounced hernia on her right side just behind her ribs.

The family lives South of Okotoks on the 434 by the dump road.

    I’ve just posted your site on an Ontario discussion forum;

    And you might want to post it on Mane Street discussion forum in BC, as well, but I don’t have their website.

    There are also the people at Mane Event in Red Deer

    Good luck

    I am so sorry to hear about your horse being stolen. It happens to so many across North America every day. You might want to contact Deb at Stolen Horse International. Her web site is http://www.netposse.com. She has horses listed from all over and receives vast exposure through many different methods. Stolen Horse International would be your best bet to get your Pony out there. I hope she is returned to you soon.

    Have you thought to talk to a Horse Psyic. I know of a case in Washington where a couple of horses were stolen from a Pro Rodeo. They contacted a horse psyic, and the horse then told them that they had traveled an hour or so on a bumpy road (gravel) and that they were looking out of a barn with holes in it. The people actually rented a plane and flew around and did find the horses.
    The psyic should be able to see through the Pony’s eyes and might be able to tell you something. Especially how long she traveled.

    Beatrice Lydecker from Oregon City, Oregon was the one that found the other horses. I used her once to find my Cat as well. I am not sure if she is still doing this work it was years ago. I do know of one in Canada though if you are interested let me know.

    Just a thought. Good luck I will pray for your ponies return soon.
    Mary Ann
