Our Biggest Horse Sale Ever

I was just checking the horse sales and noticed that the Western Breeders Sale has over 250 horses entered for the weekend. From babies to broke horses, broodmares to prospects, there are horses from a wide variety of breeders.

This sale has attracted horses from some long established programs with bloodlines that are familiar names in  showpens in a very wide variety of disciplines. From ranchwork to dressage there is a horse suitable for the job.

Half Diamond 33 Quarter Horses has offered a 2008 Filly for sale on Saturday with all of the proceeds going to the Alberta 4-H Legacy Fund. This fund helps every existing 4-H Club in Alberta along with any just starting out.

And, if you find the babies are some of the best buys and you don’t have the facilities or time to look after them yourself, perhaps you should take a look at the “Colt Resort” program at Westwind Farms.

Dave is muttering that he maybe should keep an eye on me at this sale. There are just too many nice prospects to choose from. Could be pretty tempting.
