Although we have heard quite a bit of negativity form the horse sales this fall (and not all of them as some sales went pretty good actually) we were pleased to hear that our websites are still working for our clients. Tracy Patterson from Caballos del Rio Ranch sent us the following comment.
Just wanted to let you know too that we sold two horses this fall off of our website which you host – they’re obviously having no trouble finding it – thanks for the great website!

sales are down this is true I can tell you this first hand. I bought two beautiful foals. and one was registered both have great blood lines. I only paid $150.00 for the both of them. The privet market is going to die out for a little wile because if the economy right now. I can only hope it won’t last to long or the horse world is going to get a hard crouch. Good luck every one I have a feeling we will need it.
Marge from Red Deer County. Hay is scarce here and prices are high. Although the quality is very good – baled nice and dry. I am fortunate to have my winter hay supply just delivered in the yard. With there being much doubt about a 2nd cut, I think it would be a good idea to be hay shopping early. My horse pasture usually lasts until early November, however this year I expect to be hay feeding by early September.
