Photo Contest
This photo contest is over. Please don’t enter as you cannot win. Check for a new contest and share your photo creativity with us.
I am fully expecting that if it clears off tonight like it is supposed to that from daybreak on tomorrow there are going to be some pretty great photo ops. All this snow must be good for something, eh? So I want you all to get out there and get some nice “Horses in the Snow” images. Then I want you to share them with us all on the new Photo Contest we are putting up.
Then anyone who would like to vote on the photos can come to this blog entry and use the comment section below to tell us which one they liked the best. On March 15 (or maybe March 16th as the contest ends at midnight) we will tally up the votes and announce the winner.
The winner will get a gift card from Starbucks or Timmys. I suspect we will have some snow about for awhile so I will make the deadline March 15th.

. We should use horses for such jobs more often.
I think picture number 315 is awesome. It is cool to see chores done by a team of horses and it looks like a young fellow driving the team.

I really like #351 as my fav. that is something you don’t see to often in the winter, someone riding bareback with only a halter and lead rope on the pony that I think has nice form going over the jump and I like the angle the photo is taken.
I also like #352 and #364. Jumping tandem and riding double on a pony is like way too kool.very nice photos
#172 is my vote…very magnificent !
The contest is “Horses in the Snow” I think picture 133 represents this and it is a beautiful picture of horses running in the snow.

I like pictures that tell a story.
295-this picture captures perfectly this colt’s inquisitive nature. This would make an awesome Xmas card!
207- another magical moment between a young girl and her horse!
436, and 437 the 2 young horses in perfect symmetry, and the young boy getting nasty looks from the adult mares-priceless!
