Yes, I have seen wild horses. There were a group of them around Suffield, Alta. I think they are still there. Beautiful to watch, but, very wary of people.
I Have been one of the lucky people, to be able to say that I have seen the wild horses. I posted a few photos of some that I have seen. One of three stallions that I was able to capture a glimpse of in the west country a few days ago on the photo contest page. All in all the day was great with 3 different sightings and a total of 10 horses seen. If only we could give everyone the opportunity to see these wonderful creatures in the wild.
I have never seen a wild horse in person before. They seem so majestic and pure.
I have never been do fortunate to see the wild horses. Hopefully someday I will.
I have been fortunate to see 4 wild horses in Assumption, Alberta a couple years ago. Apparently there is a couple herds in the area, along with a large herd of wild Buffalo.

I am an artist, so to be able to paint one let alone see a wild horse would be a great honor.
I have been lucky enough to see the wild horses in the Bronson Forest north east of Lloydminster. Someone has been shooting these beautiful animals! The MLA for the area intoduced a private member bill in the Saskatchewan legislature to protect them, but it was defeated!
No – not in person – just watched several T.V. shows and documentaries about wild horses.
Yes, I saw many wild horse herds riding west of Sundre last summer. Beautiful and majestic animals, the stallions very protective of their mares and foals, a site to see but also alot of caution involved as they are wild.
Unfortunately no, I have never seen a wild horse in person.
No, have not been that lucky so far
NEVER! I would absolutely be thrilled if I ever got a chance thats for sure!
I have never seen a wild horse, other then those on a TV documentary.
It would be great to sit and watch them, in their own habitat, untouched and free to do as they please.

I have seen evidence of wild horses in Northern Alberta along the Simonette River, as well as seen the odd wild horse along the highway around Pink Mountain, B.C. They are out there! They’re beautiful, and always bring me a sense of pride when I am fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of them.

Yes, I have seen wild horses in the wild. The first being a small band of the Suffield Horses, when I was early on in my military career. We also have a couple of small bands in the South Okanagan. Some are just incredible, but a few just look downright ugly.
No I have never seen wild horses. It would be a dream come true to be able to see them and experience being in their environment!
I have been lucky enough to see some wild horses in their natural habitat. It was when we were horseback riding up by Ram Falls and were on our way out and they crossed the road. Such an amazing sight to see and how natural and beautiful they looked!

Yes, I have seen a wild horse. They are so pure and brave amungst us humans. Even though they run away, they are showing us that they belong wild and that they only want to belong or go to a good and loving home that will treat them like a horse. I have seen some Suffield horses. They are so beautiful. When I drive passed them, I wish I could take alll of them home and train them.
No, I have never seen them in person, just on t.v.
I have never been lucky enough to see wild Horses in real life, but my 15yo gelding is Arabian – Spanish Mustang cross. He is very hardy with strong hooves and lots of stamina. He also has very Spanish conformation and movement. A very neat breed. =)
Yes I have seen wild horses. I worked as a guide in the Rocky Mountains of Alberta and was very fortuante to see them on a regular basis. Truly beautiful animals.
I saw several wild horses when we drove through Nevada this fall. They were far in the distance so I didn’t get a good look at them, but I expect they would be very thin – there’s nothing but sage brush in the area. It was hard for me to imagine that their lives would be very good.
My neighbor has a rescue operation and takes in Mustangs. She gets them from Southern Alberta. Beautiful animals.
yes, i have been lucky and saw some by Sundre it was so cool because we saw colts and their mommys
Yes, I have seen wild horses in the Nemiah Valley during their annual rodeo. They were standing on the cliff above the rodeo grounds in the early morning dawn. It was awesome.
Yes, I have seen them several times west of Sundre. The first time was when I was 13 years old and on a pack trip. I’ll never forget the stallion, mare and foal running free! It was an amazing sight.
I have never been lucky enough to see wild horses, but hope to one of these days.

No, I have not been lucky enough to see any yet.
Yes, I saw a herd out at Messa Bute this summer. THought they belonged to some rancher who ran cattle out there. I was told by a couple they were wild and to steer clear if riding a mare. I guess the gal was chased by one of the stallions. Looked pretty domesticed to me.
I’ve never seen a wild horse in the wild. My fear is they will disappear before my grandchildren have the opportunity to see them.
I haven’t seen any yet, but I am hoping to be able to one day.
No I have never been lucky enough to see a wild horse.

We have seen many different herds from north of Hinton all throughout the foothills to Sundre..One herd came out of the trees and ran alongside the truck. They were close enough to reach out to touch. That was awsome.
