Saturday afternoon was the WEG Opening Ceremony about which JP commented:

Flag Raising Ceremony during National Anthem. WEG Opening Ceremony. Very solemn moment. Makes one thankful for our freedom.

As the reining continued on Sunday JP made the following posts:

Tom McCutcheon marks a 224 tying the individual lead and bringing the USA total to 668, more than likely cinching the gold for the US team. Congratulations to our US friends!!

Shawna marks a 218 on This Chics On Top. This brings Canadian total to 429.5. Canada has Duane Latimer yet to run in the fourth section.

Shawn Flarida marks a 227.

Duane marks a 223 putting Canada currently in fourth place, just out of the medals. Congrats Canadian Team.

Canada in 5th place at the moment.

Rudy marks a 221 on Einstein Revolution. Secures 4th place for Austria. USA is the uncontested gold medalist! CONGRATS Tim, Craig, Tom and Shawn!

Then they got to listen to a Real Kentucky Bluegrass Band at Cowboy Gala, WEG.

We would like to thank JP Forget for sharing his vantage point at WEG and facebook comments from there with us. We would like to congratulate the US Reining Team on their win. We would also like to congratulate our Canadian Team for their hard work leading up to and competing at these games. You are all amazing competitors.
