I was just checking the horse sales and noticed that the Western Breeders Sale has over 250 horses entered for the weekend. From babies to broke horses, broodmares to prospects, there are horses from a wide variety of breeders.

If I didn’t already have a committment for today, I can tell you what I would be doing. I would be going to the Working Mountain Horse Competition. The Wild Deuce Girls ride out in the west country all summer and then bring their horses who have a summer full of experience to the competition and sale. Actually folks can bring their own horses and compete in the Friday competition. There is another whole competition on Saturday for just horses that are going in the sale. Then the sale on Sunday. There is a BBQ, Wild Steer Packing competition, Tradeshow, STARS Silent Auction, Round Pen demo and much more. You can even camp at the location and stay and enjoy the whole weekend. Anybody who has been using our classifieds and having to deal with the scammers will be interested to know that we have set up software to block scammers.
