Chester was very abused as a youngster, he was hard to catch so when his old owners did finally catch him they would beat him for running away.Then some freind’s of our’s purchased him from these people,and turned him in to a wonderful riding horse.Chester never did over come his fear of being beaten.

Hi; Checking out your website and thought I would send along this poem I wrote for a QH/Thoroughbred mare I bought as a seven year old, quite a few years back. She was definitely special. The names in the poem are grandchildren, Grady being a great grandson.

I’d sure like to tell you about some of the incredible horses in my short life of 26years that have passed away but meant so much to me and those around me. But first thank you for this chance to share their memories and allow it to maybe be memorable to others.
