Kizzy is a beautiful, 2010 AQHA 14.2 hand palomino mare, by Hollywood San Vegas and out of Whizard Jaci.

We love this mare but sometimes life has a different plan for you and she is too good of a mare to sit in our pasture without a job.

Kizzy is athletic, powerful and very broke. She has a solid reining training foundation, and she is also proven as a 1D-2D barrel mare. She is very kind and honest and has spent the last few years leased out to a family for their daughter to compete on in the barrel pen. Would do well with an intermediate rider or a handy youth.

She has been shown in reining and cutting and has done some working cow-horse for fun, she truly loves to work the cattle.Kizzy is a gritty, golden hearted mare that will go to work for you every day, she has a big stride and is good out on the trail if that’s your thing.

She came off her lease and returned back to us in December and has had most of the 2023 summer/fall off. I have put a few rides on her and she’s loping around like a dream. Started playing with her reining background again and she stepped right back into it as if she had never left it, flying lead changes, spins and speed control is all right there. Can sit for a while and jump on her and go with no issue.

Excellent on the road, eats and drinks easily. UTD on all health care and farrier. Requires some maintenance. She is ready to go! Just needs to be fitted up.

Is breeding sound, carried one foal but was still born due to a twisted umbilical cord.

Sire: Hollywood San Vegas has foals competing in a variety of disciplines. Reining, calf-roping, team roping, barrels, poles and rodeo. Has Hollywood Dun It, Vegas Cody(full sister to Topsail Cody)and Miller San right on his papers!

Dam: Whizard Jaci is an own daughter of Whizard Jac and has Heza Banjoe and Great Pine on her papers as well. Whizard Jaci herself competed in reining and then went on to become a high level barrel horse. Has had 5 full sibling foals and all 5 are very successful in their disciplines. 3 running barrels and 2 in the reining pen.
