Stallion Service Fee: $___________.00 + GST.
A non-refundable Booking Fee of $__________.00 of Stallion Service Fee (Stud Fee) is payable with this contract. Mare will not be released and no Breeder's Certificate will be issued until all expenses and board have been paid in full to Countryside Farms.
Board fee on the Brood Mare is $___________.00 per day for an outside individual pen.
Mare Owner agrees to have the Equine Staff at Countryside Farms check the Mare for normal breeding conditions, and to perform such other veterinary services as Stallion Manager deems necessary at the Mare Owner's expense. This includes (but is not limited to ) de-worming, treating for reproductive infections and preventative measure, etc.
Countryside Farms Live Foal Guarantee is based upon full and complete adherence to the following conditions (live foal meaning standing and sucking without assistance)
All Stallion Service Fees, board and expenses must be paid in full.
The Mare MUST be pregnancy checked and found to be in foal at 30 to 50 days by a certified Veterinarian. If the Mare is found to be open, a Veterinarian Certificate MUST be mailed to the Stallion Manager within 10 days.
In the event that the Mare fails to produce a live foal, the Stallion Manager MUST be notified by certified mail or by telephone within 48 hours of the Foal's death. In addition, the Breeder's certificate must be returned to the Stallion Manager within 10 days of the foal's death.
Countryside Farms agrees to offer and additional service, return breeding, or a refund of the Service Fee, minus the $_________.00 Booking Fee in the succeeding year ONLY, for any Mare that fails to produce a live Foal. The Mare Owner agrees to pay a second Booking Fee of $_________.00 for this additional Stallion Service.
It is further agreed that should the Stallion die or become unfit for service, or if any Mare should die or become unfit to breed, then this contract shall become null and void, and any money paid as part of the Booking Fee or Stallion Service Fee shall be refunded to the Mare Owner.
The mare Owner agrees that Countryside Farms will not be responsible for any disease, accident, sickness or death to the Mare or the Foal, and that the Stallion Manager will exercise his or her own judgment in supervising and caring for the Mare. The Mare shall be healthy and in sound breeding condition, and the Mare Owner agrees to provide Veterinary Health Certificate if requested. Countryside Farms reserves the right to refund Stallion Services to any Mare proven unfit for breeding. The Mare Owner will likewise not be responsible for any any disease, accident, sickness or death to the Stallion. If, for any reason the Mare does not settle, Countryside Farms will not be held responsible.
A Photostat copy of the Mare Registration Certificate (if registered), both sides thereof, must be returned with this contract as one of the requirements.
