Foaled
in 1988 and AQHA registered as Hes A Bueno Jac, this Red Dun stallion is by
Hollywood Jac 86 out of Dude's Bueno Gal. Hollywood Jac 86 was the NRHA
Non Pro World Champion in 1974 & 1975. He earned twelve NRHA bronze
trophies and AQHA Superior in reining during his eight years of
competition. His prowess in the show pen was only surpassed by his potency
as a breeding sire. Hollywood Jac 86 was inducted into NRHA's Hall of Fame
in 1993. he was NRHA's first million dollar sire as his get earnings
surpassed that milestone in 1994. Dude's Bueno Gal is a futurity finalist
and also a long time open horse in early NRHA competition ridden by Larry Rose
and Clark Bradley. She is by Senor Jessie Day out of Dudes Girl, a
daughter of Small Town Dude.
His full brother, Mr. Melody Jac is the highest money earner sired by Hollywood Jac 86 and one of the leading money earning stallions in NRHA history. His full sister, Melody Jac is a two-time bronze trophy winner and a top ten finisher in three divisions (Ltd Non Pro, Novice Horse Open and Novice Non Pro) in 1984 NRHA competition.

During
his only show season in 1991, Bueno Jac ridden by Alain Allard, aroused tremendous
enthusiasm among his reiner fans and became a favorite three year old to watch
in competition that year. He won the $5,000 Snaffle Bit Championship at
the President Circuit in Quebec scoring 148 1/2, Quarterbec Futurity Reserve
Championship, and money earner at the Congress Straight Arrow Open Futurity
Final.
1997 was a rewarding start with Bueno Jac's first colt crop in competition. In Quebec out of all the entries at the year end futurity, 80% were money earners with Buenos Little Jackie Quarterbec Non Pro Reserve Champion topping the rank. In Ontario, Buenos Lady Jac won the Ontario Non-Pro Futurity cup Futurity Final. Bueno Pine Jac ridden by Jeff Petska impressed the crowd and created much talk among reiners for his first time shown during the NRHA Futurity in Oklahoma.
The daughters and sons of Bueno show remarkably common
traits such as pleasing attitude, easily trainable, natural athletic abilities,
charisma and the typical Hollywood Jac look. With his reproductive prepotency,
Bueno Jac is building a name for himself as a sire in the reining world.
Bueno is entered in Promelbec, Performance - Quebec, National Reining Breeders Cup, Alberta Quarter Horse Breeders Group, Reining Alberta Sire and Dam Incentive program, as well as nominated to the Canadian Supreme.
At Countryside Farms we are excited about this new addition to our breeding program.
