Nestled in the rolling hills on the west side of Gull Lake in Central Alberta, Country Acre Stables beckons to horse lovers of all ages and abilities and offers a full range of horse services.

Country Acre Stables boasts 160 acres of quiet, scenic wooded trails, open fields, a riding arena and picnic facilities. Hourly trail rides are available all day, private or group lessons are offered in both English and Western. Pony rides are available for smaller children, and light refreshments and beverages are offered.

Country Acre Stables is also a popular spot for birthday parties, wiener roasts and company barbecues.

Country Acre Stables is centrally located between Bentley and Rimbey off Highway 20, only a short drive from Sylvan Lake and Red Deer. Come visit us, you'll be glad you did!

Try YOGA ON HORSEBACK this summer!

Join us for a session of yoga on the mat, then yoga on the horse!

Calm, sturdy horses are provided, or bring your own! A short basic riding lesson will also be provided. 

Experienced instructors will help you to accomplish a calm focus with your breath and with the horse, while finding that special connection within yourself and with the horse.
