Nestled in the rolling hills on the west side of Gull Lake in Central Alberta, Country Acre Stables beckons to horse lovers of all ages and abilities and offers a full range of horse services.

Country Acre Stables boasts 160 acres of quiet, scenic wooded trails, open fields, a riding arena and picnic facilities. Hourly trail rides are available all day, private or group lessons are offered in both English and Western. Pony rides are available for smaller children, and light refreshments and beverages are offered.

Country Acre Stables is also a popular spot for birthday parties, wiener roasts and company barbecues.

Country Acre Stables is centrally located between Bentley and Rimbey off Highway 20, only a short drive from Sylvan Lake and Red Deer. Come visit us, you'll be glad you did!

This summer, try a session of YOGA AND HORSES !! 

We are happy to say that we are having another yoga and horses session this summer. We had great feedback from the session that we had last summer, so the next one will be on Saturday, June 23, from 10:30 - 2:30. You can bring your own horse or use one of our quiet ones. 

 We will be starting with yoga on the mat, then moving into the arena to do some yoga WITH our horses on the ground, then mounting our horses to do more yoga ON horseback! There will be ample extra time to focus on anyone that is either a beginner rider or beginner at yoga, also to focus on more advanced yoga and riding positions for those that are ready for that!
