GJR
We are located seven miles west of Stony Plain. Our property is bordered on the North side by CNR railway. The passing by of trains is a regular occurrence and we believe adds character to the ranch.
Glory J caters to horse boarding. We generally have anywhere between 15 to 25 boarders that calls Glory J their home. Our boarders enjoy a large outdoor arena a cutting pen and a round pen, in the summer. In the winter they move inside to our heated indoor arena. There is also some great trail along the railway track for the trail riders. We have all types of horse activities; western riding, cowhorse and cutting and english jumpers. We generally run a small herd of cattle for the cowhorse and cutters. One on One is on Wednesday nights either with cattle or buffalo. Many local horse folks haul their horses in to participate in the cattle & buffalo events.
Glory J is small enough that the boarders knows each other and if someone is looking for a trail-riding buddy there generally is someone available.
Visitors are always welcome at Glory J Ranch!
