NOTICE

On August 16, 2004 we lost Badger due to colic. It is with great sorrow that we say good bye to this gentle stallion with a heart as big as Canada itself.

He maybe wasn't the greatest horse that ever was but he was a super hero to us. He was a working cow/team penning fanatic, show him a cow and then let him work. He was a fantastic horse to learn on, always a gentleman.

His last competition was in team penning down at the Ross L Seven Ranch south of Estevan. Dr. Jeremy Ross rode him to place in the money. They got along great and Jeremy showed him to his greatest potential. I know that Badger had a blast and so did Jeremy. Good bye Badger, I will miss your gentle ways and can't wait to ride your babies, you will never be forgotten. Run free my friend and I hope that you get to cut all the cows you want in horse heaven.

Badger is a gentle, easy going and anyone could ride him. He was shown in cutting and is an ARCHA money earner. Badger has full and half siblings showing successfully in Reining and cutting. We are expecting several Badger foals this spring.

Last weekend, March 20/04 at a Working Cow/Cutting Jackpot with much arm twisting, Badger and I participated in just about every event. We placed in the money in just about every event and I won the High Point Female Rider. This was my first show ever and have maybe rode this horse on cattle a half dozen times at home. Badger gave me 150% even though he hadn't had much time on cattle since we bought him. So with all this we decided to keep this wonderfully minded horse in our breeding program. Thanks Badger for a wonderful first time out and I will keep trying to learn all you have to show me.

His foals are beautifully headed and smart. Watch for the "for sale" page's on-going updates on Badger's yearlings for sale and coming this June watch for new foals being listed as well.
