We would like to thank Brenda Gauthier of Winnipeg, Manitoba for allowing us to purchase Ole King Hank. Brenda has been the sole trainer/exhibitor of "Hank JR". She showed him in the CWHA (Canadian Western Horse Association), as a 2 year old, in 2005 winning first in Halter, and second in Western Pleasure 2 year old snaffle bit.

In 2006, he was Champion Halter, Champion Western Pleasure, and Reserve Champion Reining. He has competed in about 6 NRHA shows averaging 68.5 to 69.5. He has scored a high of 72 so far. This is a young stallion, and will continue to be shown here in Alberta. Brenda test bred him to one mare, and got a palomino colt from that mating. We will continue to breed him to several of our top mares, and feel confident that he will work well for us in that area. He has some greats in his pedigree: Double Dancer, Scottish, The Ole Man, Skips Supreme, and Skippa Lark. We have had great success with the Double Dancer line crossed with the Skipper W line (as was Sierra String, our old stallion). We look forward to many years of Hank Jr's offspring. He is versatile, beautiful, and carrys that wonderful trainable disposition. He is almost identical to JR Nick Shoemaker, except he has way shorter legs!!! He has great bone and feet, very correct, and very well balanced. We are extremely happy to add him to our stallion battery.

Well, after 8 colts in a row, 2010's first baby was a FILLY by Ole King Hank, out of Cool Sierra Lace. She is pictured at 5 days old!
