I bought Kim at the AB breeders group sale for $4150 the same year she was res hi pt reiner. 1987 was tough times in the horse business and I remember thinking I better hi tail it out of that sale in case she was the hi seller and they wanted a picture and I didn't want to be seen paying that much for a mare. Mind you back then nobody knew what sold and what didnt at that sale so it probably took a while to sort out who the hi seller was. In the end the market turned around and she ended up being one of my better purchases.
