Welcome to LaBrecque Ranching home of Top Notch Playboy, sired by Freckles Tip Top. "Top" is currently in reining training at Slide Stop Stables and has shown successfully in 2005. "Top" will be remaining in training and attending the Canadian Supreme in 2006.

We are also home to Chicado Book and OU Leo Doc. Chicado Book is A FULL BROTHER to Jill Bishop's Chic mare who was the winner of the Calgary Stampede three times. Sired by Docs Paradise, a classy and proven barrel sire, Chicado has the bloodlines of a champion in the making. OU Leo Doc is Grandson of Peppy San Badger, son of El Peppys Hurt.

LaBrecque Ranching is located four miles south of Lafond, Alberta (near St. Paul) and was established over 100 years ago. Traditionally we have run cattle over 6000 acres and have recently begun raising quality quarter horses with our 100 head of registered horses.

The Tak Shak is also a venue of excitement on our ranch, offerring a wide variety of cowboy essentials from hoofpicks to saddles. Its always accessible and surely we can help you find all your horsey needs.
