About this site
This site is to help share information about the horses that share(d) our lives and our hearts. Whether they are (were) famous performance horses, or a special friend, or both.
We thought it would be nice to have a site where people could share information about horses that were special to them. And not just horses with performance records, but all horses that hold (or have held) a special place in someone's heart.
Started from my mom telling me stories of the horses she knew when she was a girl. Horses that helped our family make a meager living off the land during the "dirty 30s" in the Canadian prairie. Now I wish Mom had wrote down these stories to go with the few faded old photos that remain.
As this is the initial launch of this site, we are certain that you are going to want some features we haven't thought of yet (or just haven't got around to adding yet). We see this site as one that will evolve as we see what you want to do with it. We are very open to your ideas about the site. But, do remember, NO LISTING YOUR HORSE FOR SALE ON THIS SITE!!
