2008 Breeding Information
& Printable Breeding Contract
BREEDING FEES:
Our breeding fee is inclusive.
1.) Stallion service fee - $1500 (including $300.00 non-refundable deposit).
This fee covers the stud fee and all the work related to monitoring, teasing,
breeding the mare, collecting the stallion and preparing the semen for insemination.
All service will be artificial insemination. Mares must be halter broke, easy
to catch, leadable and easy to handle.
The only time we charge a chute fee is when a mare returns the following breeding
season for a rebreed based on our live foal guarantee.
TRANSPORTED COOLED SEMEN
AVAILABLE:
Myterra Ranch charges a collection/shipment preparation fee plus applicable
freight rates and shipping container rental fees. Based on last years statistics
we know that Pepinics Master's semen ships very well. It had excellent viability
at 24 hours post collection. For more information on transported cooled semen
and the costs associated with it, please contact Ed Masson at (780) 857-2744.
STABLING & MARE CARE:
Mares will be stabled at Myterra Ranch Cadogan, Alberta.
• Dry mare in group pasture (must be compatible and easy to catch) $4 per day
• Dry mare in private paddock $6 per day
• Mare with foal in private paddock $7 per day
