WELCOME to R DIAMOND CATAHOULAS .We are proud to offer Canadians a chance to own a "LOUISIANA CATAHOULA'.

 Our breeding pair were purchased in Texas and come from a long lineage of  Proven Champion Working & Show bloodlines. In making our selection we wanted  to be sure we were breeding for "Ability", "versatility", "agility" and "conformation". Our dogs can be used to work cattle , hunt all types of game including bear and cougars, search and rescue , protection, and are loyal companions! They are a "working "dog and are not for the first time dog owner.

The Louisiana Catahoula origin is LOUISIANA U.S.A. They are hound with webbed feet and come in many coat colors. Most preferred are the  color-leopards. Glass eyes are also preferred although the eyes may be any color or a combination of colors. The eyes do not have to be the same color and may have partial glass in one or both eyes. It is with great saddness that we announce the loss of " Jasper". This has created a huge void in our lives and he is missed very much. Blue is expecting puppies by him on June 1st. Jasper comes from a long lineage of champions,(Jaspers sire is gone also), so this would be a great opportunity to own a "true" Catahoula.
