Wrangler showed his natural talents at a young age. He loved to chase the chickens out of his pen and when that job was done he would round up any stray cat that came through his pen. When the cattle are near, he watches them intently. He is very quiet and will be the type of gelding that anyone can ride. With his breeding he will go easily in the cutting, working cow horse, or ranch work. He has had 90 days at Cain Quam Performance Horses and has been shown by a Non Pro in reining.
Wrangler was bred to cut. His sire, Cook N Oak is a gorgeous palomino that is excelling in Working Cowhorse events. His list of accomplishments to date are: 2006-Montana Cowhorse Classic-Open Ranch Cutting-Reserve Champion,2006-Montana Cowhorse Classic- Open Hackamore-Champion, 2006-Montana Cowhorse Classic-Ltd. Open Hackamore-Reserve Champion, 2006-Super Stakes Derby - Open Working Cow Horse -Champion, 2006-Edmonton's Fall Fair- open Working Cowhorse Derby- 3rd Place, 2006-Canada's Greastest Cow Horse Competition- 4 disciplines- 3rd Place.
Cooke Country ETC (Cook's sire) offspring have earned over $69,000.00 NRCHA earnings, $2425.00 NRHA earnings,$1600.00 Reined Cow Horse. Cook's dam, Cleos Easter Oak, is an own daughter of Docs Oak x Doc Bar, who is the sire of 27 AQHA Champions, 118 Show ROM, 4 NCHA Futurity Champions, and CRCHA SB Futurity Champions.
Wranglers Blu Bell has cowsense and disposition that she passes on to her offspring. We have kept many foals from Bell because they are such all around horses. Bell's sire, Wranglers Freckles was a cutting horse deluxe. He had many accomplishments including: 1987 Canadian Non Pro Derby Champion, 1987 Saskatchewan Open and Non Pro Derby Champion, 1988 Canadian 3000 Intermediate Champion, and 1988 Canadian Classic Reserve Champion.
Wrangler's half sister, Josie Solanos, and has been shown in cutting. His half brother Lucky Sonita, has been shown in reining and does ranch work. He also has a half brother that participated in High School Rodeo events. Wrangler's Blu Bell is the dam to all these offspring and passes on her quiet disposition.

DOX BEST GOLDBAR - AQHA 2008 Buckskin Filly
Smooshi, as she is known around here, is going to make her presense known in the arena. She is athletic, smart, and is very quiet to work around. She is bred for cutting or reining but I am sure she will do well with just about anything.
The filly's sire, Dox Best Silver, is a proven sire of performance horses excelling in cutting and reining. His lineage says it all. His sire, Peppy San Badger, has had many honors is his long career. He has won the NCHA Futurity in 1977, a win in the NCHA Derby 1978, and in 1980 was inducted into the NCHA Hall of Fame. Peppy San Badgers offsprings have won in excess of $20,000,000. On the bottom side, of his pedigree, he is the grandson of Doc Bar who had sired NCHA Futurity winners, world champions and top ten horses.
On the dam side is Kilobar Rythm. Her lineage goes back to King Leo Bar. Her grandfather, Kilobar, was shown by Roger Heintz. I had a chance to visit with Doris Heintz and she said that Kilobar was a great all around stallion and one of their favorites. Kilobar, a great producer, has sired 23 performers that have earned 1081 points, 3 AQHA Championships, and 2 Performance ROM earners. I have also had the pleasure of owning a half Sister to Kilobar Rythm and she was bought for a kids horse with her quiet disposition.
Smooshi is eligible for the Sask. Cutting Horse Association Incentive Fund and Sask. Quarter Horse Association Harvest Gold Futurities. She is up to date on all her vaccinations and deworming. More pictures and video are available.

GENUINE CHARITY - AQHA 2006 Sorrel Mare
Mariah is a fancy mare with flaxen mane and tail. She had a really quiet way about her right from the start and so became one of our favorites. This mare is eager to learn and has a lot of heart. With her quiet disposition she is the type of mare anyone would fall in love with. She is showing her natural ability in her training and we can see her down in the dirt stop and her natural turn arounds already.
Not only is this mare flashy, but she is athletic and has natural cow sense. She has an impressive pedigree too. Her sire, Genuine Oakridge, has had limited showing but has made his mark by producing great all around offspring. Mariah's grandfather, Genuine Peppy had LTE of $29,868 in cutting and offspring earnings of $255,568. For more information on Genuine Oakridge go to www.sleepingturkeyranch.com.
On the dams side is Brinks Tumblena. She was imported from Troup Texas and later was sold. She has never been shown due to injury. Her sire, Brinks Royal Lee, had an extraordinary offspring record and has proven his ability to pass on his cutting ability to his offspring. He was the NCHA Futurity Champion, Kansas and Brazil Futurity Open Champion, and in 1995 was the NCHA Non Pro Champion.
Mariah has been nominated to the Canaidian Supreme and will eligible for the Sask. Cutting Horse Association Incentive Fund and the Sask. Harvest Gold Futurity. She has had 90 days at Cain Quam Performance Horses and is stabled at Weston Reiners in Lethbridge AB.

KILOBAR RYTHM - Doubled Registered AQHA and APHA 1997 Cremello Broodmare
This mare is not only a beautifully built cremello, but she is a registered Quarter Horse and Paint. She has the breeding of King Leo Bar still on her papers. Kilobar, also a great producer, has sired 23 performers that have earned 1081 points, 3 AQHA Championships, and 2 Performance ROM earners.
Kilobar Rythm throws colored, quiet and intelligent babies. She is easy to handle and her vaccinations and deworming are up to date. She clips, baths, trims and hauls. She was started as a two year old but has become a broodmare because of the colored foals she produces. She is in foal to the stallion, Genuine Oakridge, and the foal will be eligible for the Sask. Cutting Horse Association Incentive Fund and Sask. Quarter Horse Association Harvest Gold Futurities. More info on Genuine Oakridge can be seen at www.sleepingturkeyranch.com . Our decision to breed to Genuine Oakridge was based on seeing how his offspring have been performing in and out of the arena. We have a 3 year old filly who has had cutting training and she is showing lots of talent.

GENUINE GOLD TRIGGER- AQHA 2009 Palomino Stallion
Trigger is off of our cremello mare, Kilobar Rythm. I watched him being born and I could hardly wait to get in the pen to see him. We are so lucky to have a broodmare that passes on her quiet disposition to all her babies. For information about Kilobar Rythm, please refer to her ad above.
Genuine Oakridge is the sire and we have been watching his offspring perform in the arena and out on the ranch. We are riding a G. O. filly right now and she has been a real treat to put the saddle on and do some work in the arena or to bring cattle home with.
