During the past number of years the C.C.H.A. Hall of Fame Committee has reviewed several names for appointment to receive the highest award of recognition presented by the association. The criterion followed by the committee is adhered to very closely, guaranteeing only those truly deserving of receiving this honor is inducted to the Hall of Fame.

This year we are recommending the induction of two very deserving partners in the Canadian Cutting Horse Hall of Fame for their many years of commitment to assisting and advancing this association and its members.

The inductees this year are Bill and Elaine Speight of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta.

Hi Bill and Elaine.

I just read in the Cutter of your recent induction into the Canadian Cutting Horse Hall of Fame. What a thrill for you and a very wise choice by the CCHA Hall of Fame people. I was happy to be able to read in the Cutter about your life story - I finally can put a name to each of your boys. You have accomplished so much and given so much to the sport. I was suprised to read that you came fresh to the sport in the '70's - I thought you had been born in the sport. You accomplished a lot in a short period of time and have sustained those accomplishments over a long period of time. I enjoyed working with you on the Supreme committee. Keep up the good work.

I would like to write a short note to you folks and say how pleased Di and I were to be in attendance when you folks were honored with the induction to the cutting Horse Hall of Fame.

The honor, I'm sure is well shared by your peers. My observation from being a people person is that you folks are very sincere and down to earth.

We wish you all the very best with continued health and prosperity.
