GBED             N/N   - Normal - Does not possess the disease-causing GBED Gene

HERDA           N/N   - Normal - horse does not have the HERDA Gene

HYPP              N/N  - Normal - Does not possess the disease-causing HYPP Gene

MH                  N/N   - Normal - Horse does not have the MH gene

PSSM1           N/N    - Normal - Horses does not have the PSSM1 gene 

Duke has excellent muscle condition, lots of bone and nice flowing movement.  He should excell in the direction of reining but will also do well in multiple other disciplines.

He is a dynamic package with a lot of heart.

Duke is very patient and things don't seem to bother him at all.  Duke already seems to be motor bike, quad, dog and kid broke, nothing seems to phase him.  He stands very patiently when tied and handled.  He is so easy to get along with, a trait I believe he posses from his mother.

Duke lopes really nice circles with a very level top line.  He has tons of natural ability and Ryan states he has been very easy to train. He is consistent with picking up the correct lead and very responsive to what is requested of him.  He is shedding out to be a dark chestnut, he looks very stylish.  Duke is very responsive to different riders as well.

 UPDATE:

Duke has been gelded and sold.  Duke currently is in training to become a heeler.  We are told he is doing excellent and has a lot of cow sense.  Both his new owner and trainer are very pleased with his abilitities.
