Smartist Lil Glow aka Chey is a welcome addition to our horse family.  It has taken a long time to get her paperwork in order to get her successfully registered into our name, but the wait was worth it.  She was purchased for our son Matthew and the two of them have developed quite a bond.  They have become best buddies in a very short time.  Often I look out the window and see Matt riding her bareback all through the yard with a huge grin on his face like he is with his best friend.  The two of them make quite a pair.

Chey is most suited to make an all round horse who also has some basic reining training.  She has all the beauty and the brawn and sure does shine up nice in the summer.  Chey is well broke and easy to get along with for all level of riders.  She has also been registered in the NAERIC Incentive Program.  She has previous show experience at local shows in the BC area prior to us purchasing her.  She has shown successfully in Western Pleasure Classes, as well as halter.

Chey is an excellent mare that can be left for extended periods of time and behaves perfectly when you get on the next time.  She is easy to take out alone in the stubble field through all types of different ground, over poles and through swamp areas.  She has been excellent at taking young horses out for first rides as she is so calm and patient.

Chey had her first foal, May 13/11.  She foaled a beautiful stud colt by No Guns In The Bar. (The foal is for sale on our foals/for sale page).  She was an excellent mother and a huge milker.  She foaled easily on her own and had great natural instincts.

At this time we will continue to use Chey as a riding horse as she was meant to increase confidence in all those who ride her.
