Update: Maggie foaled a fantastic stud colt on April 20/12.  See Foals/Sale Pen for more information on him.  Maggie has been confirmed via ultra sound June 15/12 in foal to our Cremello stud AOC PLATINUMBOONSMAL for a 2013 foal.  See Stallions & Geldings for more information on this up and coming stud.

Maggie was breed and raised by us.  She was the first offspring by our stud Peps Smart Quixote.  She has great confirmation, excellent bone, a powerful hip and good withers.  Maggie also has a natural topline and loads of athletic ability.

Maggie has alot of outdoor arena riding and some out riding.  She was used on a cattle ranch in the spring of 2009 to check cow/calves for about 45 days.  She has had a rope thrown off of her but just a few times.  She has also been lightly started on basic reining manoevers and has a very hard stop. 

She also crossed creeks and covered a lot of ground on a daily basis with no soundness issues.  

Maggie is our powerhouse mare.  She is extremely sensitive to pressure and can really get underneath herself.  She probably should have been exposed to the cutting pen instead of reining. Maggie is very very quick and can come out from underneath you without you even knowing what is happening.  She is not for an inexperienced rider.  We expect her to pass on her extreme athletic ability, confirmation and disposition to her offspring.
