“Marv” is a super quiet and friendly guy. Tons of potential in the show pen as a working cow horse or reiner or as a good reliable mount for pretty much anything you could ask for.
He’s definitely been easy to work with and sensible, while possessing the potential to do great things in the future.

Sire, SPOOKS DELTA DUDE, is one of the TOP up & coming APHA Reined Cow Horse sires sitting in the Top 5 of APHA Reined Cow Horse sires in the last 5 years & with offspring just beginning to show, and is definitely the top APHA Reined Cow Horse SIRE in CANADA

Dam, Magnificent Sting is a beautiful bay QH mare with $25K in cow-horse earnings & in the last few years has been a productive broodmare producing some fantastic foals in my program. Some of her earlier offspring from this cross have sold into show-homes so we’ll be watching for some of them in the show pen soon!

Marv decided that all that “paint stuff” was not for him and came out in a “plain-clothes” outfit – which is perfect for fitting right in with the rest of the crowd for those riders who prefer the not-painted variety in their equines – the potential that he possesses inside is still the same as his louder siblings who have been blowing up the Reined Cow Horse circuit in recent years.

Marv has been turned out in the big pasture with the other colts/geldings just learning to be a horse for the summer. That said, he is very friendly & easy to catch, lead, tie, trim but has not be over-handled. He is super sensitive, FULL of potential and will be ready to start your-way in the new year!!
