"Newt" Registered 2016 buckskin gelding. Amazing rope horse prospect. 14.3 and super catty and FAST. He’s been my go to horse for just about everything, I’ve had him since he was 3. He is patterned on the barrels with plenty of 1 and 2D stats. Stays calm at events, is a dream to warm up and walks through the gate with no issues. Free runner. He won the 2D buckle as a 5 yr old his first year racing at the bcbra finals.

I’ve penned and sorted on him and he is a blast. Wouldnt take long at all for him to be very competitive there. His first penning we had the 2 fast times of the day! He is my favourite horse to ranch and gather/sort cows on. He is sharp on a cow and will go all day for you. Lots of bush miles as well.

This past winter he spent some time in the roping pen getting started on the heel side and was really taking to it. Could easily make a wicked head or heel horse. He is broke with all the buttons to go in whatever direction you wanted.

He currently is shod all the way around but he can go barefoot, he probably has the nicest feet of any horse I’ve owned. All four are deep strong feet. Some minor maintenance, he is currently UTD on feet, deworming, teeth and vaccines.
