JD is a 15.2 flashy chestnut gelding. He has clean legs and good feet. JD has been used on the ranch to move, sort cattle and is solid in the branding pen. As a head horse, he is great in the box, runs flat with lots of natural rate. Speed is not an issue for JD when needed, but will walk back on a loose rein. He is talented enough for a higher numbered roper, but gentle enough that our kids have used him. He has been used at the World Series ropings and will continue to be jackpotted on until sale day. JD is also showing talent as a barrel horse. He has been taken to jackpots and consistently improving. Our favorite thing about this horse is his willingness to please. Not once has he said “No” to anything we’ve asked of him. With his athleticism and great mind we are sure he will be top of your string of horses.
