Fender is a 4 yo reg’d QH gelding, son of A Rey of Dually who has been making his mark in the roping pen, and out of winning performance mare, Majors Miss Grand, owned by Taylor Douglas. We haven't measured him, but expect he is just about 15 HH.

Fender is a good to catch, tie, bridle, saddle, and have his feet handled. He has made many trips in the trailer, always without issue. He is started under saddle, with an inconsistent 60 days on him, both in and out of the arena, through the cows and down the road. He has followed and roped the dummy without concerns, gets under himself naturally and has a good stop. He has never offered to buck, but he does get tight and grab his ass at times, and is not a beginner level guy.

Fender has a lot of potential and a ton of athletic ability. He’s built right, put together solid, has always been sound and is actually kind of fat right now as he hasn’t been rode since May. He has had regular farrier, body work and dental care.

A Rey of Dually is the 2022 Reserve Fall Classic Rope Horse Futurity Heel Horse, and the 2021 Reserve Champion Saskatchewan Rope Horse Futurity Heel Horse. He is nominated to the Legends of the Prairie and the Western Fortunes Barrel Futurity. Any age foal is eligible in the Western Fortunes, you just need to pay the $250 by the end of the year.
