If I could afford a horse for every occasion Goose would stay. This 16 year old WELL BRED (4 hall of fame studs on her pedigree & 5 other big money earners) mare is a gem. Started as a cutter and then used for barrels and team penning. She is 15-1 HH but super handy, fast, aggressive yet moves quietly through the herd. I have a bulging disc and she is not smooth enough for this old gal to ranch on. She was intially bought to be my performance horse and replace one of our aging ranch horse . But we need to replace 3 of our pensioners so it forces me to sell.Feel free to inqure about the 2 aged AQHA ranch horses I have for sale (gelding 24 yrs and mare 18 years both with very nice papers and resume). She was a red roan at birth so lots of color options if you choose to breed her. She has been a favorite in the arena. Adjusting to her rider, she has carried capable youth to the pay window in the barrels and poles as well as adults. She does any gymkana game you want to play. She runs an 18 on an outdoor standard pattern. But my passion is cows. She has won a lot of money for a #4 penner and taught me the game. I have pulled a cheque at 4/5 sorting shows this summer. She trailers easily;eats and drinks on the road. Stands quietly tied. She is low on the totem pole. She has rounded up cattle, pulled cattle and sorted. Use her or breed her. She was a red roan at birth so lots of color options and uterus ultrasound is good. Note: she still has one red roan patch on her left elbow. It is not a wound.
