Solid black AQHA 13-year- old mare. JT Black bar Flicka.”Black” is a stout, all around horse just under 16 hands. She has been to the mountains, used in pastures to check cattle, obstacles, roping dummy and lots of trail rides.. She is responsive to leg cues and hands, and because of this would not make a beginners horse.
Is great for the farrier
Easy to catch
Loads in a trailer(self loads)
Walks-through water
Has a fast walk and can maintain that all day

If not ridden for 3 to 4 months she can be a little cold back. Nothing an experienced rider can’t handle with some lunging, but she is not for a beginner.
She needs to be on a regular Ferrier schedule, with her feet maintained. Willing to share x-rays from a few years ago. She has been completely sound for the past few years since we adjusted her trimming.
We tried breeding her a few times (Ai and hand) but never took. Have not tried pasture breeding.

Will walk out alone away from the group, but if tied alone she will whinnie and sometimes paw.

Only reason for selling is we have two young ones that are being ridden and she is not being used very much and she deserves to be someone’s main mount.
