Dark Town AKA Blackie is a big and beautiful Quarterhorse that had her papers lost so is a grade. Blackie is 13 years old and 15.1hh and is a well trained Dude Ranch horse. She was used for 6 years at a Dude Ranch in the Kanaskis up until last year when we purchased her. She knows her job and was also used for packing and has been to brandings and used for moving cattle. She is brave and is a very good mover and walks out nice. Blackie works off leg pressure and has excellent leg yields and side passes both ways. She is easy to catch and is super fantastic to tack up and work around. I recently had her in the mountains and she is a great leader, middle of the pack or follower and she was fun! She has no vices, no injuries, needs no meds. Blackie loads and handles super well and is quiet on the high-line. She has perfect big black hooves and great conformation. Email for more pictures. Located in Spruce View, Alberta.
