Miss Dually Jewel (“Gidget”)

Gidget is a confident, versatile mare with a solid foundation and a great mind. For the past two years, she’s made 3–4 trips annually to the mountains, handling every element of mountain riding with ease. She’s moved cattle on multiple drives, happiest pushing from the back where she stays steady and consistent, but she’ll move up the sides and help when needed.

She has tracked the roping dummy and is well-schooled in her flatwork, including turn on the haunches, turn on the forehand, side pass, and half pass. Gidget has a balanced walk, trot, and lope, and she’s been introduced to a variety of obstacles—suspended bridges, tires, pool noodles, teeter-totters, and more.

I have used Gidget to pony other horses and she has been ponied both which she has done well.

As a late 3-year-old, Gidget sustained a hind-leg injury. She was fully vetted, rehabbed, and brought back into work. Because of this, she does best with a consistent riding program that includes body work (my personal preference).

She’s best suited for an intermediate rider or above.

Gidget also has strong broodmare potential—she’s well-built, has an excellent disposition, and would pass along both conformation and color. She goes back to Skipper W, Winchester, Whiskey Gold (Half sibiling to the famous HS Thirty Thirty) and Peppy San Badger!

She loads and hauls easily, stands well for the farrier, and is ready for her next chapter.
