Freckles N Honor is by Imps Freckle Chex x Lady Bug Jones a mix of cow and running bred for barrels.

Here is a cool, flashy, and fancy gelding, really smooth mover and hauled to jackpots in the heading and barrel racing. Currently roping behind a barrier at home.

Has had some pattern work on the poles for any the high schoolers looking.

Hauled to Arizona and roped on for a couple months last winter, going to a few roping’s and barrel jackpots, will be at the ABRA Finals in August. Currently running in the bottom of 1d and top of 2d with limited hauling. Has been roped on in the #13 down to the #10 and handles it with ease.

Ready for someone to make him their number one as presently he is not getting used to his full potential with girls focusing on breakaway.

Soundness has never been an issue with this 2012 model, since he had limited training and riding up until we acquired him in 2020 as a mature gelding.

Chex has good bone and feet which has required no maintenance. We have used him barefoot for long periods, but prefers shoes if on harder ground.

If you are looking for one that moves out and covers ground this is your horse, he has a good walk, trots out nice, and a very smooth lope.

Chex has been ranched on, rode in the mountains and hauled too many indoor and outdoor arenas, good around other horses and is used to running in big pastures with a herd, but usually needs to be in a smaller pen to catch. He watches his surrounding’s closely and is a quick mover making him best suited for a confident rider.

He has been rode out and hauled alone or with others.

Up to date with farrier, vaccination and health.
