Involved with various facets of the horse industry, Scott's experience ranges from starting wild horses to running the Canadian Cowboy Challenge.

His facility, Amazing Horse Country, is conveniently located near Spruce View, Alberta.

A contributor to several online and print magazines, Scott is passionate about and committed to a style of horsemanship that promotes the development of Leadership, Communication and Athleticism in horses.

Scott continues to enhance his equine skills studying extenively with horseman Josh Nichol.  Courses with Dr. Deb Bennett have added knowledge of equine biomechanics which Scott has integrated into his clinics and training.

Like any living being, the horse's body is controlled by his mind. Movements originate in the brain. Ever wonder why professional athletes spend hours in mental preparation and training? Your horse - regardless of discipline or event, regardless of whether you compete or love to trail ride - is an athlete too. Building the proper mindset in your horse - learning how to communicate with him in a way that is supportive and encouraging - is a crucial step in your success.  Learning how to engage your horse mentally will take you further in your equine endeavors, and you'll realize what a true and committed partner you have in your horse.
