Ron has 45 years experience packing into the backcountry of the Alberta Rockies.  A second generation outfitter, he cut his teeth working with Alberta's outfitting royalty.  Ron has guided hundreds of back country excursions and big game hunts including guiding a world record bighorn sheep.

Ron's packing experience is matched only by his love of teaching.  His philosophy centers around sound packing and horsemanship funtamentals, plenty of hands on practice and mutal respect. 

His considerable knowledge, clear communication style, and sense of humor makes his clinics as entertaining as they are educational.
