Don Woitte brought Fintry Tom Cat to Alberta in 1968 as a yearling. He was undefeated as a yearling in 11 shows, 2 of those in Alberta standing Res Grand champion stallion in Ponoka and winning a class of 12 in Edmonton. He was shown 11 more times as a 2 and 3 yr old never placing below second. The classes were bigger then averaging about 8 per class but unfortunately yearlings were not awarded points at that time. He went on to sire 148 registered foals. Fintry Tom Cat is a name that shows up in alot of pedigrees even today as he sired several good sons and his daughters were excellant producers.
