Developing Lines of Communication and Understanding
These seminars are great for a couple, a group of couples, a family or
families wishing to increase their communication skills, both non-verbal and
verbal skills, collaboration, problem-solving, empathy, listening skills and
so much more. There is a high level of emphasis on increasing awareness of
non-verbal communication, accurately reading and effectively responding to
this level of communication and gaining insight into the strengths and gaps
in current communication styles and habits.
EAL is the opposite
of traditional horse handling, which is about taming the animal. EAL is all
about opening to the heightened sensitivity of the equine nervous system as a
biofeedback presence for personal/spiritual growth and healing.
The horse is the
greatest teacher to these very personal, very critical relationships. The horse
lives in the moment and responds to the internal feelings of the client. When
the client's external behaviour does not match his/her true feelings, the horse
notices and responds. As a result, participants have the opportunity to become
aware of the feelings which lie beneath the veneer of their conscious mind. In a
supportive environment, they are guided to observe and trust these feelings.
Once clients become aware of their true feelings, they are able to develop new
and conscious responses. Through the process, significant insights and
possibilities arise to promote the release of fear, frustration, stress or old
patterns.
